Assignment Requirements

Sweet 2.5yr old Border Collie needs one big walk or exercise session per day. We live close to beautiful walks along the Tweed River with shops directly behind for ultimate convenience or we are a 20minute walk to Kirra Beach. We also have a ragdoll cat who will need feeding wet food once a day in evening and dog gets fed fresh food also at that time with fresh daily water. They both need dry food out during the day and night. They are both very sweet and coexist well. The cat likes to roam gardens in morning but we would request for him to stay inside for duration of our stay away as he can be sneaky and head down the street. We would also require indoor plants to be watered (3) and for the place to be kept neat and tidy vacuuming every day and respected like your own home. Also maintain pool we can instruct but it is minimal, and bonus points for those who would do lawn mowing and garden maintenance.

In return: you get a large newly renovated home with salt water pool, sauna and in a quiet neighbourhood opposite the river where you can paddleboard or kayak as there is a public access way. You can also fish directly across the road or walk 5mins and launch at the river. Shops are behind us: IGA, cafe, chemist, doctor, chiropractor, massage, Subway, chicken shop, Thai, Indian, Burgers and ribs, Chinese.

We would ideally prefer non-drinkers and retirees. We have room for a caravan to be parked on the street out the front of the home. We require no guests or visitors as we like to know who is in our home. It is a place to chill and 5 minutes drive to Kirra for all the action. Must be home at night from feeding time 5pm and ideal candidate would be at home the entire time except for outings. It truly is a place where everything is on your doorstep!
