Assignment Requirements

To live in apartment and care for a friendly house cat and a very friendly (non biting) blue tongue lizard. Main duty is feeding both and cleaning cat litter. The lizard really only needs feeding. If the house sitter is comfortable with lizards, they can go take him out and play etc.. Otherwise he can stay in the enclosure the whole duration and just be fed only.

The cat gets on with the lizard, but they are NEVER left alone with each other if the lizard is out of the enclosure.

About the Area

EVELEIGH Sydney, New South Wales
Suburb Insights
Morning routines in Eveleigh often begin with a stroll through Redfern Park or a slow walk toward the leafy stretches of Alexandria. If you are looking after a dog, the nearby green spaces provide ample room for morning stretches before the midday heat settles in. The pace here feels settled and rhythmic, making it easy to settle into the quiet stillness of a host's home. Most days revolve around grabbing a coffee on the local strips or wandering through the nearby Carriageworks farmers market on weekends to stock the pantry with fresh produce. Afternoons are best spent exploring the industrial-chic laneways or catching a quick train from Redfern station to reach the coastal breeze of Bondi or Coogee within twenty minutes. While the suburb holds a grounded, residential energy, the proximity to Newtown ensures you are never far from late-night dining or cultural events. Balancing pet care with these local rhythms allows you to experience the area as a resident rather than a visitor.
