Mornings unfold slowly, often to the sound of local birdsong and the distant lowing of cattle, a gentle alarm for a pet's first outdoor excursion. A trip into the Eidsvold town for groceries or a coffee at the local bakery becomes a pleasant drive, a chance to acknowledge neighbours you've perhaps only seen from a distance. The expectation is not for bustling streets, but for genuine, brief interactions at the general store or the post office, where faces become familiar quickly. Evenings bring a unique stillness, a blanket of stars unobstructed by city lights. This is a time for quiet reflection, perhaps watching a possum on a tree branch or simply enjoying the vast silence.
