Dougal and Rocket, 2 border collies, request the pleasure of your company. We are both very friendly: Rocket is now 14 and getting a bit tired (loves a nap in the sun!), Dougal, though only young is a pretty laid back sort who is equally happy having a pat as having a little walk. There are also some chooks, ducks and guinea pigs which don't really need much attention, just a scoop of food and water topping up..
The house is modern, comfortable and warm set on 4 acres in the lovely town of Dunkeld. There are views of the Grampians National Park and rolling green hills.
There are regularly kangaroos visiting (most days) which can be seen quietly grazing on the grass around the house. They know the dogs are roo friendly and come quite close to the house sometimes.
It is a 100 meters walk to the Grampians Peaks Trail which leads along a lovely creek and river to the National Park. There are multiple other bushwalking trails nearby and Halls Gap is a pleasant drive.
It is a 5 minute walk to main street with bakery, post office, cafes and other shops.
