We are a retired couple with a calico cat who love to travel (she doesn’t 🤣)

We have a three bedroom house with relatively self care mainly native gardens that may need a water. There is a verandah out the back to catch the warm winter sun and view the amazing sunsets, and a small veggie patch. We live on the outskirts of this major regional town, where it looks like the big city suburbs, but some nights you can hear the cows. There are great walking tracks nearby and the Murrumbidgee River flows through our town. Great for walking, picnics, kayaking (we have two available if you don’t have your own), quiet reflections etc.

There is a small local shopping centre with a supermarket, hairdresser and post office as well as the local pub that does a great feed. There are larger centres as required.

We have one cat Patches, who needs lots of cuddles (sometimes), loves to sleep at our feet, loves to curl up on a chair at the end of the kitchen bench to watch you cook (otherwise she’ll sit on the cookbook, because she knows she’s not allowed on the bench! But she’s going to give that a go anyway 😁) She has some quirky habits and doesn’t like being left alone for days. She gives much love when we’ve had a day out. Our calico girl is 6 years old, and indoors only, so kitty litter needs to be cleaned of poop daily.

Our guest room is semi ensuite to the main bathroom, and you could arrive before assignment or stay a day or two after.
