House sit SARATOGA

Please Note: The dates I've provided (14/03/2027 to 23/03/2027) are approximate dates. Final dates will be confirmed later.

My Pets:

Butch (Cattle Dog cross) and Zoey (Staffy cross) are large dogs (approx. 25kg & 31kg). They are 8 years old.

They have been trained to know basic commands such as "sit", "stay" (even though they only stay for a short while), "drop", "go to kennel", "let's go", "go to bed", "upstairs", "leave-it" and "heel".

They are not social with other dogs.

Butch has an immense dislike for birds so I make sure they stay in the sunroom when I am not home by closing the sunroom door. They are both crate-trained and sleep in their crate at night or when they need to rest during the day.

Butch and Zoey are mainly outside but if it is too cold or raining heavily, they will gladly be inside.

The care Butch and Zoey require are:

1. Feeding twice a day.

2. A few minutes run around in the backyard in the morning, afternoon and evening to stretch their legs and do their business. Please pick up their waste as soon as they have done their business and put it in the small plastic lined blue bin in the garage.

3. Change the water in their water bowls daily.

Zoey is on incontinence medication. The dosage is 1 mL at breakfast and 1 mL at dinner with food. I administer Zoey's medication by squirting it on her food, using the syringe provided. Please rinse the syringe and put back in the medication container.

You won't need to walk Butch and Zoey. While I'm away, my dog walker will call in once or twice a week to walk them.

Silver the cat is 18 years old. he is deaf and he suffers from arthritis. He will at first be shy but will eventually come out if there is food. He gets along well with the dogs and they respect each other.

Silver prefers to be outside. He might come into the house for a short while but will want to exit shortly thereafter. He sleeps and eats his food in the garage. His litter trays and water bowl are also in the garage.

Silver's care:

1. Feeding twice a day. Silver gets two sachets of cat food, once in the morning and then in the evening. I will give him one sachet around noon if he shows up and asks for food.

2. Litter trays to be attended to twice a day and his used litter also goes into the small blue bin. Please rinse the trays every two or three days.

3. Change the water in his water bowl in the garage daily.

4. Bushing every alternate day.

The Garden:

Please water my potted plants once a day for me.

1. Large pot on the veranda at the front of the house.

2. The plants in the lounge room.

3. The Bonsais and several smaller potted plants in the backyard. These are clustered together in the backyard near the tap.

4. The large pot that is in the backyard in between the frangipani and lemon tree.
