Assignment Requirements

We're looking for someone to stay in our house and take care of our dog Flip while we are away for a 3 night break over New Year's Eve.

It is a lovely spacious 3 bedroom house with leafy garden, 5 min walk from Hurlstone Park station, and Flip is a fun and affectionate 3 year old Kelpie/Staffie cross. He’d require the usual 2 or 3 walks a day as well as some company for at least half the day.

Ideal for anyone wanting somewhere with plenty of space to work from home or just relax, or to enjoy a short break.

Suburb Insights
Life in Hurlstone Park revolves around the canopy of Cook's River and the quiet rhythm of leafy residential streets. Morning walks often start with a coffee on Crinan Street, where local cafes serve as steady anchors for the neighborhood. While you manage the house and keep pets settled, you can easily step out for a long stroll along the Cooks River pathway, which offers shaded trails and water views just minutes away. This greenery provides a calm backdrop for much-needed downtime between pet feeding and home maintenance tasks. If you feel like traveling, the metro line offers a direct link to the city, though most sitters find contentment in the suburb's slower pace. On warmer afternoons, walking toward the waterfront or exploring the nearby parks allows for plenty of outdoor time, ensuring both you and the resident animals enjoy the local breeze and open spaces.
