Assignment Requirements

I am looking for someone to house sit and look after our large Bernese Mountain Dog, Zeus.

He gets fed twice a day and only really needs a short walk (helps get the mischievousness out of him).

He weighs in at about 50kg and is just over 18mths old, which is quite confronting for some people. He can jump up a bit and we continue to train him not to do this.

We will be leaving early in the afternoon on the 1st and back the afternoon on the 6th.

About the Area

Marrickville Sydney, New South Wales
Suburb Insights
Marrickville offers a grounded, rhythmic lifestyle that suits those who enjoy slow mornings and easy outdoor access. While looking after the house, you can start your days walking the resident dog through Steel Park or along the Cooks River path, where the tracks stretch long for uninterrupted exercise. The suburb moves at a pace dictated by the local coffee culture, with Marrickville Road serving as a reliable spine for finding breakfast or picking up groceries. Weekends often revolve around the local energy of the Marrickville Metro or browsing the stalls at the nearby markets. Since the area is well-connected by bus and train links, escaping to the coast is straightforward, though most locals prefer the leafy shade of the inner west. Settling into a home here means embracing a neighborhood that feels lived-in and authentic. You might find yourself spending afternoons sitting in a sun-drenched backyard or exploring the industrial pockets that house some of the city's best breweries and bakeries.
