I need someone confident and caring to look after my dog Riley and cat Spot while I’m away. Riley is an adopted 2 year old border-collie (possibly kelpie x) and is extremely energetic. She loves games and walks, but vigilance is required to make sure no items are left where she can get to them, as she eats or destroys tablets and capsules, books, tissues and tissue boxes, etc., when left alone. Spot was once a stray but even now, years later, she still responds better to women, so the ideal person for this situation is a mature lady who likes walking and giving both pets attention.

My home is a two-storey townhouse within a gated complex, where there is visitor parking available, though not directly next to my house. It is located about 2km from a safe swimming beach (no surf). About 300 m up the road is a range of cafes and restaurants, and the nearest supermarket is 3 km down the road. Larger shopping centres are within 7 km.
