Our house sit is in the Blue Mountains of the Hawkesbury region, just over an hour from Sydney. The property is on one acre of well-maintained gardens with a studio and an 1860 heritage listed cottage. The house sitters will live in the gorgeous 1860 heritage cottage. It has a large well-equipped kitchen, formal dining room, lounge room and two large bedrooms. The cottage does not have access to phone or internet. It is essential for the house sitters to be experienced in maintaining country properties and love gardening. We are not on town water or a town sewage system so experience in moniroring water usage, maintaing pumps and septic systems is essential. We ask that the house sitters contribute towards the cost gas and electricity. We have a cat called Peppe, he is an indoor, outdoor cat. He is quite self-reliant but loves sitting on someone's lap at the end of the day. Our two girls may use the studio on the occassional weekend while we are away.
