TAKONE Mersey-Lyell, Tasmania
Suburb Insights
Embrace Takone's outdoor spirit while you're here. Mornings are best spent with your furry charges exploring the coastal paths towards Point Reserves; the sea breeze is invigorating and the dog-friendly sections are plentiful. Afternoons can involve a leisurely stroll through the local park with your canine companion before picking up groceries from the small convenience store, keeping things simple and low-key. Weekends offer ample opportunity for adventure. Pack a picnic and head to the nearby bush trails for a longer hike, or if the surf is up, take your dog for a run along the less crowded stretches of beach further south. On market days, a quick visit to the local farmers' market offers fresh produce and a chance to experience Takone's relaxed pace before returning to the comfort of your temporary home.
