House sit CAPEL

Waking in Capel, the quiet hum of rural life often accompanies the first walk with your charge. The Capel River provides a serene backdrop for morning exercise, its winding banks offering peaceful routes where the dog can stretch its legs before the day warms. You will find local paths are less trafficked, allowing for an unhurried pace, a stark contrast to more urban settings. Back at the house, a local café might tempt you for a simple takeaway coffee, a familiar start to settling into someone else’s routine. Beyond daily strolls, Capel presents easy access to broader natural landscapes. Just a short drive reveals the towering eucalypts of Tuart Forest National Park, an ideal spot for longer hikes and birdwatching, perfect for a weekend excursion with a well-behaved dog by your side. Peppermint Grove Beach, uncrowded and expansive, invites leisurely afternoon visits, the ocean air a refreshing change. Having a vehicle will open up these options, as local public transport is very limited. This quiet pace extends throughout the week, offering a true reprieve. Grocery runs are straightforward, with a small selection available in town, or a brief trip to Bunbury for wider choices. Evenings here tend towards tranquil, reflecting the country rhythm. Caring for a home in Capel means embracing this calm, where the biggest decision might be which direction to take for the afternoon walk or whether to visit the coast or the forest for the weekend. The focus remains on the simple pleasures, giving you ample opportunity to ensure the pets are content and the house remains a peaceful haven.
