House sit O'connor

O'Connor provides a settled backdrop for your house-sitting stay, particularly well-suited for those who value time outdoors. Daily routines often involve a walk along the extensive trails of O'Connor Ridge, directly accessible from various points in the suburb. This natural bushland offers a safe, spacious environment for energetic dogs to explore off-leash, with varying terrain and distant views of the city. Afterwards, a short walk to the local shops offers a chance to pick up essentials at the IGA, or to enjoy a coffee at The Duxton, a popular spot where residents gather. Beyond the immediate daily rhythm with your charges, weekends unlock opportunities for wider exploration. Saturday mornings are well-spent at the Capital Region Farmers Market, a brief drive or a pleasant cycle to EPIC, where an abundance of fresh produce and local crafts can be found. Alternatively, link directly into Canberra's extensive network of walking and cycling paths from O'Connor, leading you towards Lake Burley Griffin or the tranquil grounds of the Australian National University campus. The suburb's quiet, tree-lined streets themselves invite leisurely afternoon strolls, perhaps to Haig Park, a large green expanse perfect for a picnic or simply enjoying the shade beneath mature trees.
