House sit Dorrigo

Mornings in Dorrigo settle into a slow, mist-heavy rhythm that dictates the pace of your daily chores. You might start by walking the dog along the quiet, tree-lined streets toward the main village strip, where the scent of coffee from local cafes often drifts through the damp air. Most essentials are within a short stroll, allowing you to manage pet feeding and home maintenance without needing a car for every minor errand. A trip to the local general store or a quick wander through the village shops becomes a natural part of your routine. Afternoons offer easy access to the nearby rainforest trails and scenic lookout points, making long walks with high-energy animals easy to integrate into your stay. The cool, highland climate means your time spent outdoors is often crisp and refreshing. When the weather turns, the town provides a cozy refuge where the sound of rain on the roof provides a steady backdrop for settling into someone else's living space. Transport remains sparse, so lean into the stillness of the plateau.
