Assignment Requirements

We are going to a wedding in the country and have two standard schnauzers, Lenny and Missy who are not invited. They are very friendly and are no trouble with other dogs or people. The sitter's role would be to give them a walk in the local park once a day, pick up their poo in the back yard, feed them at night, and give them a bit of a cuddle.

Neither of the dogs have any special dietary or medical requirements. They both eat kibble once a day and have a bone each to keep them happy and clean their teeth. They sleep in the laundry at night, and during the day spend most of their time either outside, or when there is someone home, they are with us in the house. We don't let them in the house while were not at home as they jump on the furniture.

We are located in Elsternwick, an inner suburb 9 km south-east of Melbourne's CBD between Elwood and Caulfield. Our house is a four-bedroom renovated period home with an established garden, office, Wi-Fi and all usual modern conveniences you’ll need. We are currently having work done on the bathroom so the front part of the house is out of action but there is a large comfortable kitchen/dining area, lounge, and terrace at the back of the house which is unaffected. Sleeping accommodation for the sitter would be in a separate bungalow/bedroom in the back of the house with an ensuite.

We are a very short walk to Glen Huntly Road which has a range of great cafes, restaurants, and shops, as well as supermarket, cinema, bars, a library, and great access to public transport.
