Assignment Requirements

To look after and walk our small Dog (Jack Russell x Kelpie) who is 5 years old, 2 peach face birds and 2 Pekin bantam chooks. We have a large yard that is predominantly lawn and hedge that would require minimal maintenance over the winter (some lawnmowing).

Our home is a 3 bedroom Weatherboard house on 1000m2 block which backs onto small creek. The fully fenced yard includes a two car carport and a large garage. The main heating during winter is provided by a Coonara wood heater, with additional gas heating available in the two main living areas, under-floor heating in the bathroom and Nobo electric heaters in the two main bedrooms. Housesitters would be expected to look after utility costs during their stay, ie gas, electricity and water.

The house is in the beautiful township of Bright, located about 50mins from Wangaratta and 1 Hour to the Mt Hotham snowfields. We are situated only 500 metres from the centre of town.
