We have 2 cats and 4 chickens plus a no-fuss fish tank. The cats are quite independent but do like to know someone is there to keep them company. They are inside cats but are enclosed in our large backyard. The chooks (ladies) just need feeding twice a day and hopefully you'll get rewarded with eggs. The fish tank has four big fat fancy gold fish and just need feeding twice a day. The tank will not need cleaning while you are there. The garden has irrigation so you won't need to water but there are indoor plants that would appreciate it.
