Looking for someone to care for 2 cats, 6 chooks and the garden of a 3-bedroom family home while the owner travels overseas. Home is located in Quambatook, a small country town best known for its Tractor Pull held every Easter Saturday and its Silo Cinema. I guess our major claim to fame is that Quambatook is the birthplace of John Williamson. Molly Meldrum also lived here as a child. We have a large comfortable home and have a lovely little dog, Tilly, and 2 chooks who need to be cared for while we are away for a few days. Just need to collect the chook eggs as their feed and water will last a couple of weeks. We are also going on a 6 week holiday in June 2026 where we will be taking Tilly but would like someone in the house. No maintenance at all. We have a person coming to mow the lawns but we need someone to look after our 2 spoilt chooks.

House sit & feed quiet dog & chooks

I have 4 dogs (2 little ones and 2 senior kelpies) 2 pet cows and 2 quails that need caring for on our 200 acre cropping farm in between koondrook and cohuna vic (also close to barham nsw). We’re close to the Murray river also. Caravan welcome. House is available to stay in but not much furnishings right now (one queen bed, couch and some kitchen items) Close to IGA and spoilt for choice with pubs and cafes, also a huge bowls club in barham that has pokies.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable with dogs. You will have two beautiful golden retrievers and a couple of dachshunds. One golden sleeps inside. We show dogs so if someone was happy here we do have other times that we go away showing.
