Hello, we are a young couple who are going away on April 13th but our housesitters have today cancelled so we are looking for someone to replace them. We are located in Warrandyte, a gorgeous suburb on the Yarra river, which is just 200 metres from the house. We live with our 2 pugs, 9 chickens and 2 ducks. (We also have a pet snake but he wont require any care.) The house also has two veggie patches, a home gym, heating and air con, dishwasher and internet. Basically we just need peace of mind that our much loved fur babies, Ajax and Pepper are safe and well cared for, so you must love dogs. The local area boasts great cafes and restaurants, an al-fresco pub, a lolly shop and a boutiqe wine store, all within walking distance of the home. There is also a supermarket, butcher and bakery. Warrandyte has a real country feel, but driving to the city only takes 35 minutes off-peak. There is also a bus that runs to the city. Plenty of local wildlife including cockatoos, corellas, galahs, parrots and possums visit the property which is set on a very quiet street.

Obviously we would not be looking for any cash payment - gas, electricity, water and internet would all be covered by us.

Dogs would require feeding once per day, chickens once every three days. Not too concerned about gardens/cleaning.

The dogs also love a good walk so if you enjoy the outdoors and getting fresh air, this job is perfect for you. If you needed to stay a day or two either side of the agreement if transitioning from/to another sittinng job that would be fine.
