We are looking for an animal loving, non-smoking person or couple to housesit and care for our two old dogs (a large bull Arab & a smaller Scottish deerhound); one cat and a small, low-maintenance fish tank while we are away for an overseas holiday.

Our travel dates are not flexible and we need our house-sitter/s to arrive at least 1 day before we leave on 12/9/18 to ensure the animals are at ease with you before we appear to abandon them!

I consider our ground-level home is comfortable and lived-in with a leafy garden and lawn rather than a 'Home Beautiful' designer home with carefully manicured garden. It is well appointed, close to local convenience shops and five minutes drive to Townsville's major shopping complex, Stockland Plaza. The Townsville Hospital is only ten minutes drive away.

Our animals are very important to us and their care and comfort is the primary reason for us wanting a house sitter. Our dogs, Sheba & Sorley, are obedience trained and normally have a short walk to a nearby park each afternoon or evening as they are older dogs and don't require much exercise. Our cat Jezebel gets on very well with both dogs. We also feed a variety of wild birds each day.

We live in a quiet suburb with good neighbours on all sides.

Hope we can find someone who would like some time in Townsville and enjoy our home and animals as much as we do!
