Our home is on a 20 acre (8 ha) farm in a beautiful rural area close to some of the best subtropical rainforest in Australia. There is a large comfortable house and a productive vege garden and orchard, with bananas and citrus in abundance right now. The place is half a km from The Channon village, 20 km from the city of Lismore and 15 km from the Nightcap National Park. There are many beautiful walks and drives to rainforest nearby. We have 10 steers and heifers to keep an eye on, with water and fencing checked. There is a small well-behaved dog to be fed and 18 chooks to be fed and let out each day. There is also a small campground with 5-6 sites which needs minimal work and attracts only quiet nature-nerdy types of people. It does need phone calls to be taken, toilets checked and $10 per person per night collected. We could come to some remuneration arrangement on that.
