We have a 14 acre hobby farm 6 kms from Yankalilla township. The house is well equiped and very comfortable, with solar power and hws.

Our top priority is to have someone care for our 5 yo border collie/kelpie, "Xander". Daily walks in the paddock so he can access the dam for a swim, will have him smiling for the day. Oh...and he is definately a "man's dog" and a big sook.....

We also have 14 chooks, 2 roosters, 1 turkey and 6 geese who free range during the day with Xander "supervising". These are locked up at night (under Xander's supervision) and let out in the morning.

We also have 4 black angus steers and 6 boar goats that free range the 10 acre paddock. They are all very social and curious.

In winter there is less required in the garden except for occasional weeding and watering of pots. Mowing of course is dependent on the weather, however a ride on makes quick work of much of the area.

Our piece of paradise is a short distance to the beautiful Normanville and Carrackalinga Beaches, great for walks and fishing. We also have a great Lawn Bowls Club in town if you are interested in participating in their winter social comp.
