Budgie - Sunshine - very chatty. Over 250 words and continuing so you could teach him some. He would not like to share his space with any other pets as he has 'free fly' around the house. Thus any carer needs to be ok with this and to ensure he cannot escape. I prefer a single mature woman as the house is small.

A neighbour will care for him, on the odd occasion, for a couple of days.

The house is a typical Queensland, small, workers cottage - all home comforts but not perfect, so it needs a low impact, flexible and adaptable carer. It has a lovely garden for peace and yoga, with herbs. Walk QUT, city, gourmet shops and cafes, cinema etc

House sitter needs to be ok with: cleaning up after Sunshine; steep access and steps; a small but modern bathroom; absolutely no smoking; some light garden chores such as watering and sweeping; parking is 60 metres away up on the road. No road past the house. I am currently seeking a long term tenant through airbnb for the totally separate granny flat below so you would not be alone and hence the need for you to tread lightly as you would be staying above. You also need a bit of a sense of adventure and capability to troubleshoot Not that I predict anything to deal with other than enjoying the home and Sunshine.
