We have a 16 year old small dog who is very timid around strangers especially men and a cat that is friendly. The dog and cat are best mates and sleep close to each other. The animals live outside during the day and inside at night. The dog will not need to be walked. Our house is a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and has good heating and is very comfortable.
