We live in a southern Canberra suburb in a quiet cul-de-sac with friendly neighbours. Our home has 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms, ducted gas heating and evaporative cooling. Both high speed internet and Foxtel are available. We are about a 10 minute walk to local shops with supermarket, chemist, newsagent, bakery and petrol station. We are very close to a bus stop and it is very easy to get to major roads and then to all main parts of Canberra.

We have a six year old rescue greyhound bitch and two cats – male and female. Annie Laurie - our greyhound – has an injured leg, so needs to be walked for about 15 minutes twice a day. The rest of the day and night she spends inside on her bed; she is a “lounge lizard”. Due to her injury, we prefer a person/s with some experience with larger dogs.

The cats have a secure outside cat run, which they access themselves by day and night. Chivas – male cat – is 16 years young and sleeps mostly. Charlie (female) is about three and plays and sleeps.

We have Japanese theme gardens, which are low maintenance. Watering systems are installed.
