My main concern when travelling is for my beautiful 10 yo shoodle girl Eliza. She is the sweetest dog, totally non-aggressive and at times very timid - she likes to take her time to establish a rapport with new faces. She is highly intelligent, very clean and is very low maintenance overall. She is very responsive to food and enjoys a short daily walk when the weather is suitable. I feel that a person(s) who either works from home or is retired would be a good match for her as she prefers company to being home alone. I'm very occasionally away from home for 6-8 hours and it doesn't cause any problems but being away overnight is out of the question.

I also have a 10 yo goldfish - very low maintenance, just a fortnightly filter clean and obviously daily feeding.

My house is a large federation style building in a very good location regarding local shops, tourist attractions, restaurants, etc. I'm not bothered if the gardens aren't tended to while I'm away, and the front part of the house is really the only area that needs an occasional clean. I can provide further details to anyone who may be interested in this position.
