We live in Darwin and have a 3 bedroom house and a very friendly dog that needs a run every day. We are 5 min drive from Darwin City and dry season (or winter) here is spectacular. There are markets on nearly every day of the week, local pools, outdoor cinema, festivals and lovely walking areas with scenic views of the top end waters. It's a very touristy time of year and accommodation is very expensive. So if you love dogs, wouldn't mind watering a garden then this is a house for you.
