We are a retired couple who like to travel a lot with our children and grandchildren. We require a house sitter to look after our home while we are away and care for our Tia who is a 12 year old Staffy X. She is a beautiful, friendly dog who just loves people.

Please note dates are flexible for the right sitter/s.

Our garden is pretty low maintenance and some plants will need a water. There's only 1 indoor plant that needs a little water. No mowing will be needed or any other garden work. We just need the mail collected and bins put out. Our dog Tia will not need walking and she will be happy just to have someone there. She does get scared of storms and fireworks so if storms are forecast we would appreciate you to be home.

Tia is an outdoor dog and sleeps outside in her kennel but can be let inside when there is a storm about as it will settle her. She's getting on in her age and has a bit of arthritis so requires a supplement to be added to her meal along with a daily dental stick. She is fed morning and night.

We have a lowset 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home containing A/C, Netflix, internet etc. A double bedroom containing ensuite, TV & A/C that will be available for a sitter. Kitchen has all the appliances, microwave, barista coffee machine, slow cooker, dishwasher, TV & A/C. There is a separate lounge room with TV/Netflix & A/C. Unlimited internet will be available.

There is an array of shops, cafes, restaurants and 2 shopping centres within a couple of minutes drive. Within a 10 min drive you have a large Westfield shopping centre in Carindale, Wellington Point, Raby Bay Marina and Toondah Harbour accessing North Stradbroke Island.

We are new to house sitting and require someone with references and ideally a police check. We would like to meet beforehand to introduce you to our dog Tia and also show you around the house. We require someone who does not smoke.
