We have 4 mini dachshunds and a female blue cattle dog on a rural 40 acres in the beautiful Scenic Rim in South East Queensland. They are fed in the morning and used to being in their snake proof kennels when we are at work during the day to keep them safe and prevent them getting into mischief. They do love free roaming our house yard when we are home and sleeping inside in the laundry when we are home. The blue cattle dog is an outside dog who will tell you she is allowed inside, which she is, but only when there are storms about.

We also have 2 horses and some cattle that are self sufficient.
