House Sitting in gnarabup, 6285

Living in Gnarabup requires a car to navigate the winding roads of the Margaret River region effectively. While the pace of life feels slow, essentials like groceries and pharmacies are centered in nearby Margaret River, making a quick drive necessary for restocking supplies. Most houses here sit tucked away among dense bushland or near the coastline, so expect quiet evenings and the sound of birds rather than street noise. If you are house sitting with a dog, the proximity to the Cape to Cape track and local coastal trails provides endless walking options, though you should always check for local wildlife before heading out. Accessing the coastline is easy via local tracks leading to beaches like Meelup or Eagle Bay. These spots serve as excellent morning walking routes for pets and humans alike. For coffee or a quick meal, driving into the main town strip is the standard routine. Relying on walking alone can be difficult due to the spread-out nature of the properties, so planning your supply runs is a key part of managing a home here.
