We're looking for a house sitter to look after our birds and garden during from Easter to Anzac day. We have two chatty budgies that stay in their cage, and one friendly cockatiel who loves people and will need a few hours out of the cage to socialise along with access to fresh chopped fruit and veggies every day. As well as caring for our little flock, we have a few houseplants and a garden that will need to be watered.

We are situated in the Hunter Valley, about a ten minute drive from the vineyards. There are many local restaurants, cellar doors and interesting places to explore nearby. Our house is located within walking distance of local shops, with lovely views of the Brokeback Range. We are located on a hill, so if you have trouble with stairs sorry, but this isn't a good place for you to house sit :) We have a lovely native garden in the backyard which attracts lots of birds, and a deck at the back of the house with a bbq. Our house is small but comfortable and features reverse cycle air conditioning, home theatre sized tv + sound system, a modern bathroom plus a desk if you need to work from home with FTTP wireless internet throughout.

Our ideal sitter is a non-smoker who has a green thumb and enjoys the company of birds :)
