We might be a bit bias but we think where we live is stunning. Katoomba is the heart of the beautiful World Heritage, Blue Mountains National Park, 2 hours drive from Sydney CBD. Our house is a three bedroom weatherboard cottage, located less than a 10 minute walk to town and public transport and only a 20minute walk to the legendary Three Sisters look out. We have unlimited hot water, gas cooking, a slow combustion fire, Foxtel and wifi. The town has a train station so you will be able to easily explore the surrounding areas. Katoomba town has a huge variety of restaurants and cuisines as well as bars, pubs and cafes to explore. The National Park has thousands of bush walks, cycle trails and adventure activities to offer. We have a variety of maps and information books for you to use during your stay. We only bought the cottage a year and a half ago so we are still doing some renovations, ie we are re-sanding and staining the floor boards one room at a time, nearly there but not quite We have a nice front deck to sit out on in the morning sun to eat your breakfast or to have wine and nibblies in the afternoon while you keep yourself warm in front of our chimnea.

There is no real responsibilities with the house apart from keeping it neat and tidy. The pets require very little work too. Our dog Spud is an old boy now and has arthritis in his back legs so he would only need walked for about 30 mins every second or third day, he also loves to chase the ball in the garden. Our cat Cleo is an out door cat so no kitty litter cleaning needed.. yay! Just feeding for her in the morning and evening. They are both super cuddly and affectionate. Spud will probably want to sleep on the floor next to the bed as that's what he does normally.
