We are helping a long time friend with early onset Alzheimers achieve his dream of doing Route 66 and will be away for 4 weeks. During this time, we need someone to keep our house secure & clean, gardens maintained & most importantly, care for our dogs.

This is a wonderful opportunity for an interested person/s to explore the beautiful Riverina region of NSW and at the perfect time of year - not too hot and not too cold.

Albury is 1.5hrs drive and the winery area of Rutherglen is only another half hour further along the road. There are lots of day drives to surrounding country areas. Great nearby attractions of Temora Aviation Museum (1hr), Chocolate & Licorice Factory & train museum in Junee (30 mins,) Coolamon Cheese factory (30 mins), wineries within 20mins drive of Wagga, Riverina fruit growing area, excellent restaurants in and around Wagga and the Snowy Mountains are only a couple of hours drive.

The shopping centre is literally only 8mins walk from home - includes Coles, BWS, chemist, Brumbies bakery, bank, Gloria Jeans, hairdresser, takeaway food outlets, newsagent, Reject Shop.

An Aussie Rules club with bistro, tab, pokies & entertainment only a 15 min walk away or you can call and use their Courtesy bus.

We'd love for you to enjoy our lovely 4 bedroom home with ensuite to main, 2nd bathroom to main area of house,2 living areas PLUS a ManCave and covered outdoor entertaining area.

Need a bus - we are on bus route or you can drive into the Centre of Wagga in only 8mins - 13mins on a busy day

We are happy for the sitter to stay a few days longer after we arrive home if they need some time to prepare for their next house sitting arrangement.

You will need to love dogs, enjoy cuddles with dogs and walk the dogs or take them to the dog park. We have 3 dogs & they love cuddles. They are gentle, loving, energetic and are tough if they think their home/humans are being threatened.

Eldest dog is a 9yr old Boxer male named Bronson - very calm - loves attention. Follows instructions well and doesn't move at any great speed - doesn't expend any more energy than necessary. A quiet old gentleman.

2nd dog is a boxer/staffy cross female ,4 years old named Charlee - the 'crazy young one' energetic, sometimes needs to be given instructions a couple of times, loves cuddles.

3rd dog - 3 year old Wolf Hound/Bull Arab cross female named Apris- medium sized dog. A great guard dog - well behaved, very, very smart, follows instructions very well and also loves cuddles.

We usually bring them inside at night time for cuddles.

There is a dog park 5 mins away as well as good walking tracks in the neighbourhood.
