FARM SITTING – CHARTERS TOWERS North Qld

Free Van or Motor Home site near Charters Towers in return for light duties – general maintenance plus watering plants, trees and feeding 9 hens.

Would suit couple with own caravan or motor home.

Duties average approx one-and-a-half hours per day. Power and water supplied, excellent TV & internet reception. Can do some free internet and/or phone if required. Bathroom, toilet, cooking & refrigerator/freezer facilities, washing mach available. We have town water and mains electricity.

On a quiet rural road just 10 minutes from Charters Towers so is a lovely peaceful place to stay a while and save money for further travels.

Charters Towers is an enjoyable place to spend time with excellent medical and social facilities for all age groups but particularly for Seniors as we have an ageing population.

The weather is beautiful in May/June with cool nights, crisp mornings and balmy days.

Some practical skills would be handy but not essential e.g. being able to repair a leak in poly piping if necessary.

People with police checks and referees will be well regarded.
