Our home is on 100 acres in the northern tablelands of NSW, 10kms [about 15 minutes on a sealed road] from town.
At the moment we only have 2 small steers which need to be fed some hay every second day - [due to the drought we are experiencing at the moment]. There are a couple of troughs in the paddocks near the house which need to be checked once a week to ensure they have water in them.
We have 2 dogs - a 4 year old Border Collie and a 3 year old Collie/German Shepherd cross. They love a walk through the paddocks and sleep in enclosed runs at night [or in the outside laundry if it's really cold]. They are allowed inside for a few hours of an evening. Both dogs are very friendly.
We really don't have any garden to look after at the moment [again due to the drought] but we do have a good supply of fresh tank water for the house.
