We are looking for a caring and reliable pet/house sitter to care for our dog, cat, blue tongue lizard and house/garden. We had a house sitter lined up but they just pulled out. We have had house sisters before and have prepared a comprehensive guide that we can email across to any interested person.

About the dog: she is a lovely natured pugalier, ten years old with some very recent health issues. She was recently diagnosed with pancreatitis and has not been herself but is slowly getting better. She will not need any walks, she gets her excercise in our yard. She used to always sleep on our bed but has recently opted to sleep on the floor, however if she wanted to sleep on the bed you'd need to be comfortable with this. She is on a strict low fat diet due to the pancreatitis and we will have her meals pre-done for her while we are away. She's very much an inside dog, a bit of a princess however recently she wants to spend most of her time outside. She has to be inside at night.

About the cat: she is a 2 year old tortoise shell, lovely nature as well, she doesn't have a litter tray inside so no care needed in this regard. She comes and goes however needs humans to open doors for her as we dont have a cat flap. She only eats dry food, which we have available for her all th time. She must be inside at night as our council area has a curfew for cats at night.

About the lizard: she is the easiest pet to care for. She only needs her water bowl topped up and some snails put in her enclosure every second day. You'd need to be comfortable to handle a snail.

About our house and garden: we have a cosy 2 bedroom house that is not fancy or modern. There are some things that don't work and are in need of repair however it is our home, full of love and warmth. We have converted our lounge into the main bedroom to give our daughter an extra room for all her things, so our lounge is a cosy nook in the kitchen/dining area. We are an easygoing family with a no fuss attitude. A family is welcome or a couple/single. We ask that you don't bring your own pets.

Our garden will need watering every day if it does not rain. We have some veggie beds and pots in need of care as well.

Our house is close (ten minute walk maximum) to a large shopping g centre, to the train station that takes you to Melbourne in an hour, to a state of the art aquatic centre and gym and to an amazing beach. Frankston is the gateway to Mornington Peninsula with wineries galore, amazing beautiful bay and ocean beaches and lots of activities for the family.
