Hi, I am looking for a house sitter (single or couple) to look after my house while i am away overseas for 6 weeks, which includes minding my sweet and affectionate Jack Russell Terrier - Toby (male, 6 years old) and my beautiful cats - Daisy (female, 4 years old) and Lucy (ginger, 1 year).

My home is simple but comfortable with reverse cycle air- conditioning to keep the house at a comfortable temperature when needed. The house needs general cleaning to keep it tidy (including cleaning out 3 cat litterboxes and vacuuming regularly, as the animals do shed fur). My home has 2 bedrooms, a study, and 1 bathroom, so maintaining it is quite easy.

I have a good sized yard with table and chairs for enjoying time outdoors. The yars needs to be maintained, which consists of mowing lawns and also some weeding from time to time.

As far as looking after the animals go, i would like someone who likes both dogs and cats.

Toby (my dog) does require walking each day and lives indoors the majority of the time. He loves stomach rubs, snuggles and also makes for great company.

I would prefer that the housesitter arrives 2 days prior to my departure (starting on the 22/8) to become aquainted with my pets and their daily routine, helping them to feel more settled when i do leave, and to also discuss other household details, etc.

I live in a quiet, suburban neighbourhood, and I am located not too far from a beautiful river where I often take scenic walks. It is also great for having picnics and relaxing. I am situated close to the blue mountains and near lots of fantastic bushwalks/hikes for outdoor lovers.

I have a little shopping centre that is a stone's throw away, making it very convenient to buy groceries etc. I have a large westfields shopping centre which is a 10 minute drive away, where there are plenty of stores and cafes, for all your shopping needs.
