Our 4 bedroom air conditioned house is located at Lovedale, Hunter Valley Wine Country, where we are surrounded by local wineries, many with cafes, other tourist accommodation, and properties on acreage.

There is a professional golf course in Lovedale in the Crowne Plaza complex.

The house is on 25 acres, has an outside pool and BBQ area and a separate 4 car garage. We also have 3 x 3 bedroom Tourist Cottages, which are cleaned by a cleaner when we have bookings.

We have two 11 year old boy Border Collies - show dog variety. They are both very friendly and enjoy people company. They love ball games and walks. They sit with us at night in the family room, unless they hear a rabbit or something outside to round up. They sleep in our tiled laundry at night when we all go to bed. We let them out in the morning between 6.30 - 7 am. During the day, they will wander in and outside, as they love company.

We are looking for a House Sitter/s who are able to: Care for our 2 dogs in a caring manner. Collect our mail. Mow the lawns around the house and our cottages with the ride on mower if required. Use a tractor to slash the paddocks surrounding the cottages if required. Weed the garden beds at the house and at the cottages and water the garden beds when needed, but not overwater as we are on tank water and the gardens are not used to too much water. Put the air conditioning on, if cold, for incoming cottage guests, open the curtains up and put the outside lights on. Guests go straight to our cottages as we have keypad doors, so don't need to check in or check out as no keys required. Replace the firewood in the half wine barrels at each cottage from supplies at our house. Maintain our pool in clean order by replenishing what is necessary to maintain it and topping up water when needed. Replace the BBQ gas bottles on each cottage verandah when required. Keep our house in a clean, tidy order at all times. All Bookings for our cottages will be managed by us while we are in Western Australia. If we receive a booking we will forward an invoice, which will show the person's name, cottage number and dates of stay with us, to our Epson Printer in the office. to be put in an envelope with the person's name, date of arrival and Cottage number & placed on the dining room table of that nominated cottage.
