Our home is on stunning acreage just 3 km out of a small country town in the South West of WA. There is one cat which is extremely friendly and comes inside and sleeps a lot, 2 dogs who stay outside to keep the foxes away from the many chickens. There are also peacocks roaming around and 5 sheep grazing on the hillside which is behind the creek, which is beside the house. The cat will need his food bowl filled and ears tickled, the dogs appreciate being fed and cuddled. The sheep have plenty to eat already with all the grass. There are 6 chicken yards which I check each day to shake the food bin and see if it needs more, check the water bowl to see if there's enough, and throw them some weeds. The pot plants will appreciate a watering and possibly a few trees, weather depending. If you like fresh eggs and fresh veggies, you will hardly need to shop. People who visit say it is paradise, but there is a bit to do.
