We are seeking a single or couple to care for our house and pets while we travel for 7 nights in July. We have a cocker spaniel (6 years old) and a black cat (10 years old).....Our house is under 2 years old, very modern and warm, north facing and well suited to the Canberra winter. It is heated with hydronic / in slab heating. We have a carport and large driveway which is suitable for parking a 4WD or caravan.

Our dog sleeps in the laundry and spends a little bit of time in the house during the day. She likes a short walk each morning or afternoon and enjoys company.....she likes having someone at home for much of the day. Our cat is aloof but very relaxed. She sleeps all over the house, but can be confined to a particular room at night time if you prefer.

Indoor plants require minimal care. There should be no care required for the garden at that time of year.
