My home is an old Queenslander set one of the oldest suburbs in Toowoomba. Close to the beautiful Newtown Park Rose Garden, cafe, Laurel Bank Park and shops, you'll not need to go far if you're a homebody. If you like to walk and explore, you'll love the stroll into the CBD through the tree-lined streets where you'll find no end of cafes, restaurants, retail therapy and laneways to explore. My home is an artist's retreat, filled with eclectic mementos of my travels.

I have one elderly gentleman cat who needs company while I'm away and tends to get into fights at night if he's outside, so catlovers should apply.

My travelling companion (who lives 10 minutes drive away) would also like someone to pop in and check on his 2 small dogs every second day. If this is something you're keen to do as well, that would be great ... but it's not a deal-breaker nor a necessity.
