Hi we live in the Great Southern region of WA. It is a mostly a grain growing area 1 1/2 hrs from coastal Albany, 3-4 hrs from Bunbury (in the south west) and 4 hours from Perth.

The beautiful Stirling Ranges/Bluff Knoll and the Porongurups (great wine growing areas, also bush walking etc) are about an hour away. Tambellup is a small rural town with few shops (bank, PO, hotel, general store) although being xmas most services will be closed.

We have 2 small/medium dogs - Gryphon/spaniels - brothers who are adorable (of course), kind, gentle and mostly house dogs who require your love and attention although they mostly sleep their day away. If they get a walk thats a bonus for them but they are just as happy if they don't. They do not like to be left outside alone and we do not want that to happen so please be prepared to spend most of the week looking after or being around our boys - unless our neighbour can let them out occasionally if you go out during the day. ** Due to health reasons (mine) prefer a NON smoker only please. We can possibly extend the dates if this suits you better or you are welcome to stay a few more days once we are home if you need to.

Our house is cool in the summer and is air conditioned (not that you need to use it very often) and we have a good size garden which might need the odd water if really hot, but no gardening required unless you are so inclined.
