Hello potential house sitters,

I am looking for a lovely house sitter to look after my cat and home for 10 days. If all goes well with these 10 days I will most definitely use you again in May -June when I am away for 5 weeks.

I have a little 100 year old cottage with a white picket fence in Bowden, very close to the Bus and 5 minutes to the train and 10 to the free tram. 12 minute bike ride to city. The traditional cottage has the original heritage bathroom and toilet layout. This means that you have to step out the back door and then walk into a separate small building about 1 metre away. I have just bought an antique bath to replace the original that was removed before I moved in so it will be installed and ready for use! The toilet is under the main roof. Please note that now it is summer the garden isn't as lush.

The special things of note are:

(i) that I have an old cat who is elderly & not very well (hence my short trip). He does not need to be given medication or anything special in these regards. He just needs to be fed and spoken lovingly to and watched over. His timidity means he prefers females - esp 25-45, who are gentle. He prefers to be on his own when strangers are around but likes to know you are there, nevertheless.

(ii) I will have two AirBnB guests for the first 5 days (leaving on the 6th day in am), after that the place is all yours! This means I will pay you $20 an hour cash in hand for anything you have to do in relation to these guests: eg keeping the house and guest room up to a very clean standard (I have a cleaner coming in on the 8th of March), time greeting the guests to explaining rules and handing over the keys & changing the sheets on the guest bed.

That may seem like a lot but my place is very cute and I am near Plant4 - a fabulous market (check Facebook) and I will make you a fabulous dinner and give a gift of thanks on my return.

As I said if all goes well it would be great to have you back in April-June - and if you want to stay then BnB guests will not be booked in for that time.
