We have a well appointed ground-level home in a quiet suburb, about 3 minutes drive to a major shopping centre and 10 minutes to the Townsville University Hospital. There is a beautiful walking/cycling path along Ross River just a short walk from our home.

We have just adopted a lovely calico cat that we hadn’t really intended to get until after we returned from a short holiday but as she seemed just right for us and really needed a home she is now ours! So we are in need of a house sitter for 9 nights from 28/3/20 as we would rather not move her again so soon after her getting settled with us. Skye is an inside cat (except while under supervision outside) so requires her litter tray to be maintained and she is fed twice daily.

We also have a small tank of tropical fish that is very low maintenance and we feed the wild birds each day.

Our gardens are low maintenance and tropical.

As we will be leaving our cars at home there will not be space in the carport but we do have a double driveway for off-street parking.
