We are looking for someone who will stay from 3 to 7 months in the Tasmanian Autumn, Winter, Spring.

I invite people to stay for 1 weeks before I leave just so I can get to know them and be happy about them in my home for such a long time. Send me your references/3 and Police check if you are interested to save time.

We live half the year in Alaska and need a reliable house sitter or renter. Staying here after we come home is an option as we have a private living area for those who want to see Tasmania in the Summer months.

We have a country acre with veggie garden and chooks, three female sheep and one male who mow my lawn and a big wonder dog called Boo who loves to swim, show you tricks and go for a run on the country roads to keep fit.

I need a sitter who will look after my home and garden, run my dog and swim him in the home pond and / or Lake Barrington near where I live. I live only 35 mins from the lovely world heritage Cradle Mountain and Devonport the opposite way. I have a canoe and tennis courts are only under 2ks away where the local Wilmot shop is, and a primary school, town hall. Indoor Bowls in the winter at the Hall.

It will be cold hear so who ever comes need to be aware of this, that it gets -4C nights sometimes and 13 C up in the daytime. I have a wood fire and stove, a Rayburn II, very antique, hahaha that heats my water & is great for cooking so electric is cheap

I live in an alternative life, it works for me. I am looking for a special person who understand how to save water when there is a drought in wintertime, be able to fix my 2 water pumps if they breaks down. I only have a push mower and my sheep on a tether mow my lawns, but please bring a mower if you are not fit, as well as a chainsaw as you need to replace the wood you burn to keep warm and cook with. You need to know how to save water as all things come from rain and no connection to the mains, thank goodness, as this will save you electric heating bills.

You also have the choice to stay hear with me for the summer as I am also a CouchSurfer host and a HelpX Host, teaching folk about our environment and organic gardens, etc. 'Permaculture'. I am an artist, painting, sculpture and glass work. I also teach Glass, Art, Painting, Massage and Music and Landscaping.

Responsibilities are required of house sitters are;

Maintain the lawns around the home. Keep my veggie patch going so I can come home for the summer garden. It provides food for my winter months in my freezer which you can use. in the past when I came home the garden has been abandoned so keep garden weeded, plant seeds for veggie garden for spring planting, pick veggies and use, gather eggs and sell or eat them to my friends who love to buy them. Clean the chook (chicken)house and put it in the compost. Keep the fences safe around the garden and around the house so the sheep do not get into the veggie garden or the home garden. Maintain the tree guards so the sheep do not eat my fruit trees by ring barking them. Keep the home clean. Look after the three sheep. They are friendly. Water my plants when it dose not rain.

I have 1.2 acres of Garden with a large pond my dog loves to swim in. Sometimes there is Platypus in the pond and ducks so keep an eye on the native animals and keep my dog confined by telling him to sit and stay or put him on a lead when you are not around. He has his own bed and kennel but is wonderful in the house at night as he is very quiet and clean. He will tell you when the chooks need feeding and when he needs to go out for a pee. He talks to me often and helps round up the hens.

BTW. The mobile dose NOT work in my home, but just up the road 300 metes it works. I have great internet, $49.00 a month unlimited which you need to pay when I am away.

I need a house sitter for 4 sometime months from August to November approx. 2015.

There is also a rental part of my home for one or a couple but a lease will be required.
