We require the assistance of a reliable house sitter mainly for our pets while away on a 5 week family holiday. There is Tiger the indoor/outdoor cat, who is quite independent, only needs feeding and the occasional cuddle (when she feels like it). Tiger usually sleeps in the laundry at night. Guinea Pigs, Baloo and Alfie who are both roaming freely in the back yard. They return to the safety of their cage by themselves at night, so only need feeding once a day. A few goldfish, very low maintenance with only a feed once a day. Then there is little Maci, our 6-month old Dachshund. Maci is the baby in the household. Although a baby, she does have a strong personality and thinks she's bigger than she really is. She hates being alone at home and loves going for the occasional walk. She usually shares a bed with one of the children, as she is quite needy, so be prepared to wanting to share the bed with you. If this is an issue, she does have a bed and can be even put in the laundry, if Tiger decides to sleep elsewhere. Maci would need attention throughout the day and a weekly bath, which she loves. Our house is located in a quiet neighbourhood with a dog park very close-by. We live in a 2 level house, living areas all downstairs, swimming pool and a spacious undercover entertainment area. Approximately 2km from a major shopping complex and 8km from the Bayside.
