We own a beautifully renovated Queenslander cottage in the town of Dalby. It is fully air-conditioned, has 3 bedrooms (one set up as an office), modern kitchen and bathrooms, a big shady tree in the backyard, and a very large deck. It's walking distance to the shops and located opposite a park.

We also have an adorable 4 year old Maltese-cross dog called Charlie. She's very affectionate, thinks she's a human and will be staying at the home while we are away. She does not shed and is very clean. You must love dogs, because she will love you. She likes to watch TV with you on the lounge, and sleeps on the bed at night, so if you're not prepared to have Charlie sleep on the same bed with you, then please don't apply. The gardens will need watering - we have sprinkler systems in place, so it's pretty easy.

Dalby is a vibrant, regional town with a population of 14,000. There are a number of good pubs, cafes and all the major shops are here (Big W, Target, Bunnings, Coles, Aldi etc). It's located 3 hours drive south-west of the Sunshine Coast or 2 hours 50 minutes north-west of Brisbane. Toowoomba, a large regional city is 1 hour away.
