Hi,

Work circumstances dictate that I need to do a fly in / fly out roster for approximately twelve months from Townsville (to Mt Isa), commencing at the end of Feb. The roster is an eight days on / six days off rotation, and I am looking for a regular sitter to come and spend time with my boys from a Tuesday to Tuesday (Tuesday night to Monday night) of alternate weeks. I am looking for someone mature and reliable, who obviously loves dogs and loves walking dogs. Both boys are still getting used to the humidity in Townsville as they have come from a drier region, so they are only demanding one walk a day at the moment instead of two.

Pat (the maltese x shitzu) has been with me since he was a pup, however Paul (kelpie x something short) came to us as a rescue dog about six months after Pat. Paul has some 'special' personality traits and anxieties, but both he and Pat are inseparable and extremely affectionate pups.

You would have your own room available for the period you are at home with the boys, in a quiet house in Railway Estate. Reasonable use of wi-fi is OK, and of course general use of all facilities in the house. Walking the boys is made easy by close proximity to Ross River and the associated walking tracks through to Rosslea and Hermit Park.

I ask that you: walk the boys at least once per day; feed them (I will leave home-cooked meals in the freezer) once a day; keep their water bowls full (Pat is drinking like water is going to run out at the moment); take good care of the house and maintain its security at all times; give the boys plenty of love and affection; and, enjoy.
