I am going on holidays to Canada and Alaska from 13/8/17 to 12/9/17 plus at least a day or two in Brisbane beforehand. And however long you feel you and need in advance to learn the routine.

There are about 15 border collies who will love human company during this time. Water is automatic, food is in the kennels, and the dogs can run free in the yard. I mostly want a presence here while I'm away. The dogs can run free and exercise themselves or you can take them for a daily walk if you wish. The house is outside the yard.

I have a two bedroom house 30min from Kingaroy in Qld on 40 acres, only one queen size bed in the house but if needed a second mattress can be brought into the house, all mod cons - air-con, dishwasher, washing machine, kitchen etc (no coffee maker, just a jug) TV (no arial) and DVD, with plenty of DVDs and books. The only noises you hear other than the dogs are birds, and frogs after rain, and you are surrounded by trees. Kingaroy is a medium-sized town which has most things you a™ll need like Woolworths, Aldi, Big W, electrical shop, hardware, mechanics, clothes etc. I have satellite internet with reasonable speed though not huge amounts of data.

There are some orchids that need watering once in a while and if you wish to potter in a garden there is one to play in.

There's a bit of sightseeing around Kingaroy - Bunya Mountains, Bjelke-Peterson Dam, wineries, observatory, lookout, museums, galleries etc and several small towns.
