Start date is negotiable - I can make arrangements from Friday 22/12/2017 if this is a more suitable date. End date not negotiable.

4 bedroom house (some areas will be closed off from the cats), big back yard, large outdoor area. Ideally I would like you to visit the property for a few minutes sometime before I leave (between now and Christmas) so that I can meet you and show you around and explain garden watering ect. For the right person/s this is likley to be a regular occurrence and other times during the year may be required also (upto 4 times a year).

I will make available the master bedroom with a double bed for use and prefer if you supplied your own linens and bedding (at the very least you will need to be prepared to strip and wash the sheets the day you arrive as I will not have had time to do this prior). There will be no wardrobe available but ample floor space for bags and suitcases.

I am looking for someone to be in my house most, but not all the nights listed. I live in an area that is only 1 hour drive (or less) from some great destinations to visit. For example Victor Harbour/Goolwa and 10 minutes to Langhorne Creek wine region. Please read below for expectations and responsibilities.

Feed 2 cats Smokey and Bandit twice per day and play with them as needed. They are just under 12 months old, indoor, desexed, vaccinated, micro-chipped cats. (If you do an overnight trip somewhere cats will need to be fed immediately before departure and upon return). Scoop and change kitty litter as needed. Food and kitty litter will be supplied.

Feed chooks and collect eggs every 2 - 3 days depending on weather.

Water gardens and lawn twice per day (keeping note of weather. If rain is forecast this can be skipped) and undertake garden maintenance as you see things - there is no mowing needed as I have a gardener who will come and do that while I am away.

You will have access to a lounge area with a TV, Xbox 360 and a selection of DVDs. You will need to provide your own computer or devices and chargers. NBN is available and password/instructions will be left in the house if required and turned off if not needed.

You will need to provide ALL your own food and beverages for the duration including tea/coffee and milk. Puratap for drinking water is provided and there will be a jug in the fridge for cold water. Any arrangements regarding this can be negotiated when contact is made. There is a small store in Milang but there is limited stock. Supermarkets are a 15 minutes drive into the next town with Click and Collect available. The property is in a NO HOME DELIVERY area. Takeaway options are limited but local hotel provides fantastic meals. You will have access to cooking and cleaning equipment with Microwave/Toaster/Kettle/Gas Stove and Oven. Everything is in clean working order and available to use. NO BBQ.

Dining area for upto 6 people. I don't mind if you have guests over during the stay however no accommodation can be provided inside the house (space for tents and a caravan only up to 2 nights) and they will be entirely your responsibility.

The house is not air conditioned but stays reasonably cool due to style and design. Lake breezes in the afternoon and evening make it pleasant to open windows for fresh air.

Full bathroom and Laundry available, with shower (bath not available) and front loading washing machine. (Expectations of no more than one shower per person per day and washing upto 2 loads per week given South Australia's water situation).

There is no public transport in this area and you will be expected to have access to a vehicle at all times for safety. Doctors, dentists and hospital ect all available in the next town and accessible at your risk. Please note that while not a common occurrence this is a bushfire risk area and evacuations may be needed.

Roadside rubbish and recycling collections occur on Fridays and you will be expected to put the bins out and bring them back in accordingly.

I am happy of you have a pet of your own that you wish to bring along but please note you are responsible for your pet and any damages/expenses, ideally this will be negotiated and I would expect you to let me know his/her details. I do not have fences.

The property and contents are insured. You are not expected to pay for reasonable utilities usage during the stay but please note that I am quite conservative with water and electricity usage.

Please also note there may be the last minute need to extend the service by upto 7 days. I will not know this until towards the end of the time as I am traveling into an area that often experiences flooding due to wet season and poor mobile phone service. This is something that can be discussed and a phone number to contact me on if needed will be provided.
